writing examples
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been writing.
Journals, to-do lists, ideas on napkins, carrying around my composition notebook a la ‘Harriet the Spy’ as a child. Writing has always been my first love. (Bless my lifelong friends who would entertain my idea of fun at sleepovers by writing short stories.)
I write what I know, or rather, what I’m learning. Motherhood, grief, the highs and lows of healing chronic illness, self-deprecating humor. . . no topic is too personal and I’m always willing to roll up my sleeves and dive deeper.
